Etienne Alberts and his team make their mark in trying times.
We last touched base with Etienne Alberts a few months ago when his dealership was looking to make their mark. We spoke of crisp new doors and the scent of ambition in the air. Since the 1st of March 2021, the dealership officially became Almighty Equipment. With 13 years of personal experience with ESI and staff that was brought over – the mark was made.
With parts of South Africa currently in turmoil, it is clear the difficulties that businesses and citizens are facing. Almighty Equipment is here to try rise above and “carry on doing what we do”. For Alberts, all they can do now is continue to “offer a better, more efficient service” despite the current situation.
With the recent announcement of the extension of level 4 lockdown, Alberts was asked to explain the effects thereof and how they are overcoming it – his response was, “we have seen a slight drop-in workshop and parts sales, but we are fortunate enough to have clients who are still trading during these tough times”. This is where Alberts’ dealership comes in. “Clients still need our service and we are here to provide.”
When giving advice to other dealerships in terms of handling the year that is 2021 and how to continue running smoothly, Alberts explains that it comes down to price and service – “All you can offer is to give clients the best possible service at a competitive price”.
So, what can we expect from Almighty Equipment as we head into the final stretch of 2021? Alberts optimistically, whilst keeping the secret sauce to himself, puts us on a look out for “another branch in KZN but… we will have to wait and see”.
