Flying high in 2022 with our award programme
The High flyer award programme is a well-established programme where we as a company identify between 2- 5% of our staff members who are high flyers. This refers to people who go above and beyond in their duties, perform at a continuously high-level month after month, show great initiative, and have the most awesome of attitudes, where nothing is too much for them to do for the company, their colleagues, and/or staff. This is not an easy process and the relatively easy nomination by one’s HOD does not automatically gain you entrance to the same. In fact, each candidate completes a mini resume and together with the motivation by the HOD is considered at an executive level. If accepted, those staff members are then subjected to a panel interview, which consists of all HOD’s and executives. The rationale for this panel interview is with specific reference to the aspirations, and established career plan, of/for the individual.
In 2022, we identified 3 staff members who just so happen to all be from Central Parts Division (CPD) and based in PMB. Motivated by a dedicated HOD who subscribes to staff development & promotion, the recipients of the 2022 High Flyer Award programme are:
- Zama Njokwe
- Freedom Nzimande
- Suveer Adjodiapersath.
As a rule, you are only awarded the badge once, but the annual certificate is new for each year you are nominated and accepted. If nominated, and accepted for 3 consecutive years, the individual will automatically be promoted.
Congratulations to all three, who have previously been awarded the High Flyer badge, and have this year been awarded the certificate of achievement.
