We managed to get a short interview with Trestin Jhagaru, Dealer Principle, in his (naturally) busy schedule. This ‘one to watch’ dealership (sales, parts and services) has been around for 7 years with Jhagaru having worked there for a shy 7 months, but this hasn’t stopped him from propelling them into the spotlight.

- What do you see as the opportunities in your area which has excelled your dealership into what it has become today?
Jhagaru firstly credits his success to their latest partnerships – “We recently partnered up with two companies to do our digital and social media advertising which has really put our brand out there.” Secondly, he believes that their steady focus on customers and the creation of “results to delight our customers by continually exceeding their expectations” plays an equal and vital role. “A huge portion of our new business comes from existing clients referring us.”
- What is it that you like most about Powerstar vehicles?
Short and straight to the point, “simplicity” says Jhagaru. Furthermore, he adds, “overall performance offering excellent value for money”.
- Tell us a little bit about the company culture, your client relationships and overall business philosophy.
“Creating a culture of inclusiveness and belonging where all are welcome – In our busy, fast paced culture, we focus on building long term relationships, both within our own team and with our customers. - What makes your dealership different from the rest? Why are you the ones to call?
For this Dealer Principal, their customers are at the heart of every decision they make, and they strive to exceed their expectations at every turn. As Jhagaru mentioned earlier, their new business is mostly driven by word of mouth, something that takes optimal client relations to be achieved.
- How are things now that you are a winning title dealership?
“Modest yet proud at the same time”. Jhagaru explains, “we really appreciate being honoured with such a prestigious award. It just proves that the hard work we put in pays off . . . nevertheless, we remain humble and truly grateful to our customers.”
