Possibly the oldest Powerstar Dealership in the country keeps getting it right.
“I think we may have been the first Powerstar Dealership in the country,” says Neville Ackerman – Dealer Principle at Powerstar Paarl (part of the SPME Group). “It’s nice to think that we’ve been here from the start and continue to be excited by the growth we see for the product brands under the Ever Star Industries umbrella.”
Powerstar Paarl forms part of the SP Motor Engineers group which has a long-standing and well-respected reputation in the Cape. “After 37 years we have built up a lot of relationships and, really, most of our customers are like family members to us,” says Ackerman. “It’s also why we always go above and beyond in terms of service delivery – making sure our ‘family’ is always taken care of regardless of the time of day or nature of problem.”
Being located amongst the winelands means that Powerstar Paarl is very active in the agriculture industry – which is not a bad place to be considering that ‘agriculture’ is one of the few industries that’s experiencing significant growth in 2020.
The dealership provides sales, service and parts support across the range of Ever Star Industry brands – which, of course, includes Powerstar Trucks, FT Series trucks and Shantui yellow metal machines.
“Being a part of the SPME Group has the added benefit that client confidence in the group spills over to us,” says Ackerman. “From their our client-centric focus and, of course, the quality products we have to offer from Ever Star Industries does the job in winning (and keeping) customers.”
