We chatted to Assembly Plant Manager, Quinton Nohar, and his team about their work and capabilities.
Ever Star Industries assembles vehicles in partnership with two manufacturers form China. Vehicle kits are imported and assembled in Pietermaritzburg, the vehicles are sold as chassis cabs or, if clients have specific body requirements, the team works with local body builders to
supply completed units.
“Our goal is to provide quality vehicles for the local and cross boarder customers,” says Quinton Nohar. “We have a large share of the tipper and tanker market for mining and construction. Our range of vehicles include the VX range for construction and mining, the V3 for long haul and the FT for lighter workloads although, recently, the FT10s especially have been fitted with bodies that suit harsher working conditions.”
