It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our friend, and fellow dealer, Geoff Reilly, of the Industrial Exchange Group (IEG) in Zimbabwe.
Geoff was the founding member of this dealership, and the father of Brenden Reilly, whom we all know very well.
Zimbabwe is one of our oldest dealerships, and my relationship with the Reillys extends some 14 years.
Geoff was one of the nicest, most humble people I have ever had the pleasure to meet, and know, and after being a part of the memorial service this past Friday, I am in absolute awe of the fabulous, and positive legacy, that this man has left behind.
St John’s College hall was bursting at the seams with all the people that attended, and his family, children, grandchildren, and others had such wonderful stories to tell us all, which was a celebration of his life, and the many, many people that he touched, and assisted.
Geoff leaves big shoes to fill, but I know that if Brenden is anything like his father, then the future of that family, and legacy, is well taken care of!
Geoff you are a legend and will be sorely missed by all that knew you. Thank you for your contributions to our business and our lives. I am definitely richer for having known you.
